One of the reasons that so many younger children love having computers and laptops in the classroom at school is because it provides an additional learning resource for them and it lets them learn on their own at their own pace. For some kids in school however, they love having the internet readily available to them for another reason. Often times kids like to spend recess, their lunch hour or their time after school browsing the internet looking to play fun games that are not blocked at school.
While most school and administrators have methods to prevent kids from accessing in school games through the use of firewalls and filters for keywords such as unblocked games at school or game sites not blocked at school kids will still try to find a work around to get access to whatever fun unblocked games they can find. It almost becomes a chess battle between the students and the teachers to see who can outwit who.
Instead of searching for not blocked game sites kids are better off looking for the social networking sites where the games are imbedded in the website as they sites typically are not blocked by school officials, such as Facebook or MySpace. These sites may allow you to access game sites that aren’t blocked but eventually if you start wasting time on the sites during class time instead of studying, the teachers will work to such the sites down. Most school IT departments will be able to track the unblocked game site that is getting the most traffic and work to prevent that site from being accessed if there is high traffic to it during class periods.
Kids are better off looking for websites that offer educational benefits or websites that most schools would deem to have a functional purpose such as Nick Jr of one of the many Disney sites that exist. Any site that offers reading or math type games as the main focus are the types of sites that school educators want the students to visit.
If kids are able to access non blocked games at school during the school day, it is important not to download anything on the site that could lead to malware or a virus getting onto the computer. So if there is anything that looks suspicious when the site first opens, it is a good idea to hit the back button and look for other games that are not blocked by school so there are no problems caused for you or your computer.
